2. Overview of processing
This website is a simple informational site for an independent consulting service. We keep data processing to a minimum: we do not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, advertising services, or third-party embeds of any kind. The only data processing that occurs is (a) technical logging by our hosting provider necessary to deliver the website, and (b) the data you actively submit through our contact form.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by:

Our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. This includes:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of access

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in ensuring the stable, secure operation of our website.
Retention: Log data is automatically deleted after a short period, typically within a few days, unless required for security investigation purposes.
A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with our hosting provider.
4. Contact form
When you use our contact form, the data you enter is transmitted directly to our own web server and forwarded by our server as an email to our own inbox. We collect:

- Phone number (optional)
- Message content
No third-party form service is used. Your data is not passed to any external form provider, marketing platform, or CRM — it is sent, via our own server, directly to our own mailbox and stored there like any other business email.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent, given by ticking the consent checkbox and submitting the form) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry). Where your enquiry aims at entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR also applies.
Spam protection: The form includes a hidden "honeypot" field that is invisible to human visitors and used only to detect automated spam submissions. It does not collect any personal data from real visitors.
Retention: We retain contact form emails for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any related correspondence, and thereafter delete them unless statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. if the enquiry develops into a business transaction with commercial or tax record-keeping requirements).
Withdrawal: You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by emailing us at contact@swift-csp-expert.com. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before your withdrawal.
5. Fonts
This website uses the typefaces Space Grotesk, Inter, and IBM Plex Mono. All font files are hosted locally on our own web server — no connection is made to Google Fonts or any other external font provider, and no data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.
6. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, web analytics services (such as Google Analytics or Matomo), advertising services, or any third-party tracking technologies.
7. Local storage of language preference
This website offers content in English and German. When you select a language using the language toggle, your choice is saved locally in your browser (using the browser's "local storage" feature) so that the site remembers your preference on future visits.
This information — a simple language code such as "en" or "de" — is stored only on your own device and is never transmitted to our server or to any third party. As this storage is strictly necessary for a feature you actively request (remembering your language choice), it does not require your consent under Sec. 25(2) of the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG).
